We appreciate you choosing The Springer Studio Youth Theater for your child! We recognize that these workshops and summer camps are an investment for many families. We also know that most people do not register for these programs without careful consideration.
ATTENDANCE POLICY: When you register your child for a program at TSSYT, please be sure to inform us of any known conflicts that your child has during rehearsal or performance times prior to the start of rehearsals. Not showing up for a rehearsal with no WRITTEN communication from a parent or guardian is considered an UNEXCUSED ABSENCE. Anyone with an unexcused absence will be removed from the cast, regardless of role.
If you know that your child can not regularly attend one of the evenings that we rehearse, the registration will be denied. We can not teach a student who is not present at rehearsal. It is not fair to the cast or the staff to try and re-teach everything that the student has missed.
ILLNESS: If your child is SICK or you have an emergency, A PARENT must inform Mrs. Springer IN WRITING through an email or text at least one hour prior to rehearsal in order for that absence to be excused.
****HINT*** These children talk to each other constantly, so if your child is NOT sick but chooses to go out with friends instead of coming to rehearsal, I will find out and they will be removed from the cast. We encourage responsibility to your cast mates here at TSSYT.
REFUND POLICY:
If you withdraw your child 7 days or more BEFORE the start of the program (auditions), you can receive a full refund minus the $100 deposit which is non-refundable. If you withdrawal within 7 days of auditions or after the program has begun, there are NO refunds granted. Thank you for understanding.
