Auditions are scheduled for SATURDAY JULY 12 from noon-6pm with a MANDATORY dance call at 2:30pm. EVERYONE is required to attend the Dance Call.
ONLY vocal auditions need to reserve an audition slot. Everyone else, we’ll see you at 2:30pm!
If you are unable to attend the auditions in person, a video will be accepted PRIOR to Saturday July 12. (we must have your video BEFORE noon on Saturday July 12).
SCRIPTS will be available to pick up in the front lobby starting on MONDAY JUNE 16. That area is accessible 24/7. Just take a book and CHECK YOUR NAME OFF THE LIST PLEASE!!!
JAMES: “On Your Way Home” Please prepare the entire song. Open to boys and girls, but the character is male.
LAHDALORD: “Right Before Your Eyes” from beginning to “Buckle Up, we’re off on a bumpy ride”. Open to boys and girls, but the character is male.
SPIKER/SPONGE: “Property of Spiker and Sponge” from the beginning to the line, “a child-thingy named James…..ewwwww”. Open to girls only.
GRASSHOPPER: “Floating Along” from beginning to end of the first chorus (around 1:16 on this video). Open to boys only.
LADYBUG: “Everywhere That You are” from beginning to ‘hmmmm’ (around 1:00 on this video). Open to girls only.
EARTHWORM: “Plump and Juicy” from ‘the flavor, it can not be matched’ to the end. (2:40 to the end on this video) Open to boys and girls.
The roles of SPIDER and CENTIPEDE will be cast from the above auditions. If you are interested in being considered for one of these roles, please communicate that on your audition sheet.
