The Springer Studio Youth Theater welcomed over 200 people to our brand new facility's GRAND OPENING on March 7, 2020. We held one week of lessons and 2 rehearsals before March 13, when the pandemic reared its ugly head.
Determined to 'just keep swimming', we rehearsed an entire show over ZOOM and recorded it scene by scene. We held lessons over FaceTime and Zoom, we hung out on Google, and made lots and lots of videos. Once we were able to open, we ran 2 smaller summer camps, all masked-up and socially distanced. We have redesigned our spaces and increased our safety procedures while we decreased our audience size, postponed some shows and had to cancel others.
We are #BLESSED and incredibly grateful to have been able to provide any programming during a pandemic. However, as the restrictions shift and continue to change the ways in which we are able to operate, it is getting harder and harder to keep moving forward. WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We thank you in advance for your generosity and can't wait to see you here at The Springer Studio Youth Theater.
